Further to Dáil Question no. 227 of 24^thNovember, I advised that a tree felling licence for the person named was assigned to the Ecology Unit.  The Appropriate Assessment Report was compiled and the application opened for a public consultation period of 30 days, which ended on 14^thJanuary, 2022.

The application will now be finalised by my Department and subject to everything being in order, I expect a decision to issue in approximately one month.
