1699. To ask the Minister for Health the estimated cost of removing the prescription charge for persons aged over 70 years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1352/22]

As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the deputy directly, as soon as possible.

1700. To ask the Minister for Health the estimated cost of reducing the prescription charge for all medical card holders by 50 cent and the maximum monthly amount by €5; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1353/22]
