To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the status of a passport application by a person (details supplied); if he will arrange for the return of the applicant’s UK passport given that they are due to travel on 18 December 2021; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 358 and 362 together.

With regard to the specific applications about which the Deputies have enquired, the Passport Service has provided an update on the status of the passport application, and return of supporting documents, to the applicant.
