The National Cancer Registry Ireland (NCRI) collects, classifies, records and stores information in relation to each newly diagnosed individual cancer patient, and in relation to each tumour that occurs.

The NCRI advises that figures for the number of women diagnosed with cervical cancer in Ireland for 2020 have not yet been fully validated. The most recently available 5-year data, from the NCRI annual statistical report (published Dec 2021), cover the period 2015-2019 and are as follows:

Tumour 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019
Cervical Cancer 248 292 296 307 274
