To ask the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the fact that Ireland has the highest rate of spina bifida in the world; if his attention has been further drawn to the fact that many children with spina bifida are waiting surgery, particularly scoliosis surgery; if he has plans to provide the necessary funding to increase surgery capacity in order that surgeries can go ahead in Cappagh Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
