138. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the steps he has taken to improve ventilation in the office buildings of his Department; if air cleaning and or purification systems have been installed in 2021; and if not, the plans to install same in 2022. My Department has two office areas under its control, both of which are leased:

- 2nd and 3rd floors, Block 1, Miesian Plaza, 50 - 58Baggot Street Lower, Dublin 2; and

- 2nd and 3rd floors, Montague Court, 7 - 11 MontagueStreet, Dublin 2.

Miesian Plaza uses an advanced mechanical ventilation system which provides for fresh air changes throughout the building continuously. The Office of Public Works has not recommended any changes to this system.

Montague Court is a naturally ventilated building that allows passive air flow through windows and doors. There are no plans to install air cleaning and or purification systems.
