To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if her Department will request the State Examinations Commission to accept a late application to the scheme of reasonable accommodations at certificate for a student (details supplied) in County Tipperary; if her Department and State Examinations Commission will take into account the fact that this child was only recently diagnosed with a learning disability; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The State Examinations Commission is a non-departmental public body under the aegis of the Department of Education with statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations.
