Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment

269. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if she will outline the provision of funding she has made in the event that she is required to fund a full allowance of the pandemic unemployment payment in December 2021 and the first six months of 2022. [58133/21]

It is estimated that over €4 billion will be spent on the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in 2021.

The 2022 allocation for PUP is €75 million and is based upon Government Decisions made to date.
