The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has appointed a Director of Forestry with direct responsibility for forestry policy and operations on 22^ndNovember 2021.

The newly appointed Forestry Director is reporting to the Assistant Secretary General in my Department who has responsibility for both GLAS and forestry.
