To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government the date that the existing planning regulations for wind farms were introduced; when it is intended to publish new wind farm planning regulations on the basis that the height and span of wind turbines have increased dramatically in size since the original regulations were introduced; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
