The definitive 2022 budget allocation for the Department will be published later this year in the Revised Estimate.

In 2020, the Department provided funding of €30 million in total to the UN World Food Programme, the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation and to the Africa Agri-food Development Programme. It is anticipated that a similar level of funding will be reflected in the outturn for 2021.
