250. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the total saving incurred in 2020 and the projected savings in 2021 as a result of backlogs in apprentices accessing off-the-job training due to the Sate paying less in allowances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [51828/21]

The information requested by the Deputy in relation to savings on off-the-job training in 2020 and 2021 is being compiled by SOLAS. An answer will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
