To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the number and value all procurement contracts that took place by way of negotiated procedure without prior publication in 2020 and to date in 2021; and the date, value and purpose of each negotiated procedure contract in tabular form. I wish to advise the Deputy that my Department’s procurement policy and processes are set out in accordance with the Office of Government Procurement’s (OGP) Public Procurement Guidelines for Goods and Services, which aim to promote an open, competitive and non-discriminatory public procurement regime which delivers the best value for money.

I can confirm that no procurements took place by way of negotiated procedure without prior publication in 2020 or to date in 2021.
