As Minister for Health, I am aware of the valuable work of the hospice movement in Ireland and of the valuable contribution South Westmeath Hospice Committee has made over the years in responding to the needs of individuals receiving palliative care and their families in the South Westmeath region.
As this PQ relates to a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
