To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if it was her Department or Fáilte Ireland that drafted the eligibility criteria for the tourism business continuity scheme; the section of her Department or Fáilte Ireland that was responsible for drafting eligibility criteria; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department's role in relation to tourism lies in the area of national tourism policy development. Implementation of that policy is a matter for the tourism agencies, Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland. The eligibility criteria for the Tourism Business Continuity Schemes is an operational matter for Fáilte Ireland.
