To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if communities within the north central area of County Cork which have been victim to illegal and negligent use of scramblers and quad bikes will be considered for inclusion under the Road Traffic (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2021; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I intend to introduce measures in the Road Traffic Bill 2021 to deal with the anti-social use of quad bikes, scramblers and similar vehicles.
These provisions will apply nationwide, and as such will of course benefit people in any district affected by this kind of dangerous behaviour.
