234. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if the European Commission has procured €2.6 billion worth of antigen tests for aviation (details supplied); if Ireland will receive an allocation of same; if so, the amount; when the test will be made available; if not, the reason; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The procurement or allocation of antigen tests in Ireland for public health purposes would be a matter for the Department of Health and the relevant public health authorities. My Department has no information in relation to procurements or allocation of such tests by the EU.
