To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the details of each value for money and policy review conducted by her Department from 1 January 2019 to date; if external costs were incurred; if so, the details of such costs; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Over the period 1 January 2019 to date, the following evaluations including value for money and policy reviews were conducted by members of the Irish Government Economic and Evaluation Service (IGEES) for the sectors which fall within my Department’s remit. The following table lists the evaluations and provides details of any external costs which were incurred:

Value for Money and Policy Review of the Tourism Marketing Fund (2020) | Following a competition to secure consultancy services through an OGP framework, a consultancy firm was awarded a contract in July 2017 to assist the Department with the review. The total value of this contract was €64,575 (excluding VAT). |
