To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the extent to which he and his Department have in hand further enhanced measures to ensure the protection of all Departments and bodies under their aegis from any cyber-attacks in the future; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The National Cyber Security Strategy includes measures to support Government Departments and other public bodies to improve the resilience and security of their Network and ICT systems. Through its work, the NCSC supports public bodies, including a number of commercial and non-commercial State bodies to improve their cyber security posture and fulfil their obligations under the European Network and Information Security Directive.
