This year the National Day of Commemoration will take place in the National Museum of Ireland, Decorative Arts and History, Collins Barracks on Sunday, 11thJuly. The Ceremony ‘in honour of all those Irishmen and Irishwomen who died in past wars or on service with the United Nations’ will be broadcast live by RTE and will include a multi-faith service of prayer, military ceremonial and a wreath laying by the President. The numbers in attendance will be in line with Covid-19 restrictions to ensure the health and safety of all.
