To ask the Minister for Health his plans to review the ongoing attendance and visiting restrictions on partners at maternity hospitals, particularly in view of discrepancies in Covid-19 restrictions between different maternity hospitals nationwide; and if he will make a statement on the matter. To ask the Minister for Health the risk analysis his Department or bodies under the aegis of his Department have carried out into the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in the maternity department of University Hospital Galway in order that partners may visit wards outside of the one hour daily slot currently allocated and may spend more than 30 minutes in the neonatal intensive care unit; the details of the frequency of risk assessments carried out in this regard; the details of the criteria taken into account in these risk assessments; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
