To ask the Minister for Health if he will publish the review conducted on the cost effectiveness of flash glucose monitoring technology for those with type 1 diabetes; if he will consider making this technology available for all persons in Ireland with type 1 diabetes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The review referred to by the Deputy was undertaken by the HSE. Under the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, the HSE has statutory responsibility for the administration of the community drug schemes; therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
