652. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the position regarding supports for the amusement park providers who remain closed as a result of current public health restrictions; her plans to introduce further funding supports for the sector to assist with severe financial issues many are experiencing at present; and if she will make a statement on the matter. In addition to the wide range of horizontal measures introduced by Government to support businesses including in particular the Employee Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS) and the Covid Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS), I am aware that, subject to terms and conditions, amusement park providers were eligible for both Fáilte Ireland's Covid-19 Adaptation Fund, which closed for applications in December 2020, and Stage One of the Tourism Business Continuity Scheme, which closed for applications on 8th March.

I have referred the Deputy's question to Fáilte Ireland for further direct reply to the Deputy including information on any additional supports that amusement park providers may avail of. Please contact my private office if you have not received a reply within ten working days.
