406. To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government the steps open to a seaweed harvester who wishes to register seaweed harvesting rights on their folio which abuts the shoreline from which they harvest seaweed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13342/21]

Legal registration of seaweed harvesting rights, such as those held by traditional seaweed harvesters is a matter for the Property Registration Authority of Ireland (PRAI), accordingly, my Department has no role in that process.
