23. To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if funding will be made available through Enterprise Ireland for the development of a golf training facility and golf pro academy for a golf club (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Enterprise Ireland plays a key role in providing direct supports and services to the manufacturing sector and export oriented enterprises and to the internationally traded service sectors. Accordingly, a golf training facility and golf pro academy would not be eligible for support from Enterprise Ireland unless it was providing an internationally traded service.
As the Deputy will be aware, there are a range of loans and schemes in place to help companies to start-up or expand and details are available on my Department website or the local LEO website.
