To ask the Minister for Health if the necessary funding will be made available to ensure no further time is lost in progressing the provision of urgently required acute beds for the mid-west region, given that planning permission has been granted for the development of a new 96-bed ward block at University Hospital Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
