62. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason for the poor quality of the photograph on new driver licences when compared to the public services card and so on given that the driver licence is one of the most commonly used forms of identification. [9083/21]

This is a matter for the Road Safety Authority. I have referred the question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within 10 days.
