348. To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if consideration will be given to providing public information signage at appropriate locations for a European Natura 2000 site (details supplied) to ensure better public understanding of the site and the reasons for its designation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The special area of conservation site referred to in the Deputy’s Question is not in the ownership of the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage. Accordingly, the issue of signage at the site would be a matter for the local authority concerned.
