Disability Act Employment Targets

To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the absolute and relative number of persons with disabilities employed by his Department in each of the years 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2020; if these persons are in full-time or part-time roles; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department of Foreign Affairs is fully committed to equality of opportunity in all its employment practices in line with the National Disability Inclusion Strategy 2017-2021 and in meeting its obligations under part 5 of the Disability Act 2005. The number and percentage of DFA staff with registered disabilities is noted in the below table. The Department does not hold historic information pertaining to those with a disability and their employee status.
