246. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 981 and 982 of 3 November 2020, if he will report on the number of young persons without social workers or care plans as Tusla has not yet provided a reply; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to apologise to the Deputy for the inconvenience caused. I have referred the matter to Tusla, and asked that they investigate the matter and arrange for the reply to issue to the Deputy, with an appropriate clarification.
The response prepared by Tusla in relation to Parliamentary Question Nos. 981 and 982 (3rd November 2020) would have included figures validated to August 2020. I have therefore asked that Tusla also provide the Deputy with the current figures, for information.
