The legislation underpinning the superannuation scheme referred to requires that any increases in pensions are authorised by the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.

However, the issue raised is a matter of pensions policy, which is a matter for the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.
