181. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if it is the case that free travel pass holders are unable to book bus places with Bus Éireann online; the reason for same; if it will be addressed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1446/21]

As the Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. However, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.

The issue raised is an operational matter for Bus Éireann and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply.

Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.

Customers can contact Bus Éireann customer care directly on 1850 836 611 if they have any queries.
