A monthly breakdown of beef imports from EU member states by weight and value (Central Statistics Office (CSO) data) is currently being compiled and will be sent to the Deputy's office when available.

In the interim, according to the most up to date CSO data available, imports of beef to Ireland from other EU member states (including GB & NI) during the period of January to October 2020 were 24,103 tonnes or €106 million in value. In the same period, Ireland exported almost 500 million tonnes of beef valued at €1.876 billion.

The full CSO trade stats for 2020 will not be available until mid-February 2021.
