452. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if funding is available to help with the purchase of a car for a family with a disabled child who has to travel from Tipperary to Dublin on a regular basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [44227/20]

I wish to advise the Deputy that I am not in a position to comment on this matter, as it presently falls outside my area of responsibility. However if the Deputy wishes make contact with my private office in the form of a representation I will ensure the matter is examined appropriately.

I do not have a particular funding stream appropriate to a project for the purpose as outlined by the Deputy.
