304. To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if the ban on hare coursing will be extended until at least the end of March 2020 in a context in which any extension of the current coursing season into March 2021 would be to allow coursing during the height of the breeding season and potentially disrupt the reproduction of the Irish hare population. Under the Open Seasons Order made under the Wildlife Acts, coursing at regulated coursing matches may only take place between 26 September and 28 February of the following year.
