26. To ask the Minister for Trade, Enterprise and Employment if his Department and any commercial or non-commercial State bodies and private entities subsidised by 50% or more of public funding under the aegis of his Department have implemented social clauses in their public procurement contracts in the past three years (details supplied); and if so, the nature of these social clauses. The range of policy areas which come under the heading of social considerations is very broad and includes, for example, environmental sustainability, disability access, training for young or disadvantaged people and labour standards amongst a host of other areas.

Bearing in mind the broad scope of the question and its reference to any State bodies who are provided with public funding under the aegis my Department, it is not possible to provide the Deputy with the details requested within the timeframe available.

Details will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as available over the coming days.
