To ask the Minister for Health if the HSE altered the criteria and amount of refunds for the purchase of glasses and optical examinations that parents of children with disabilities can claim back in April 2020 as occurred in the case of a person (details supplied); if his attention or that of his officials was drawn to the change; the policy reason for the decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
