To ask the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the action he is taking in response to the motions passed by local authorities across Ireland on recognising and addressing parental alienation; the consideration he has given to recommendation 36 of the Report on Reform of the Family Law System published by the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice and Equality on 25 October 2019; and his views on the issue of parental alienation. The complex issue of parental alienation is a matter for the Department of Justice as the Department responsible for the reform of the family law system. I note that the Deputy has also raised this question with Minister McEntee.
