To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if a standardisation process will be applied to the marking of the small group of students sitting the leaving certificate exams in November 2020; and if so, the details of the standardisation process given that it will be an atypical cohort which is unlikely to fit with the patterns of an ordinary summer leaving certificate. The State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations.

In view of this I have forwarded the Deputy's query to the State Examinations Commission for direct reply to him.
