178. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills her plans to develop the permanent school site for a school (details supplied); the reason the development of the site has been delayed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27821/20]

The tender process for the school building project referred to by the Deputy is running as part of a wider process involving the tender of 8 major building projects. The first phase of the tender process to create a shortlist of contractors is complete.  The second phase of the tender process is ongoing and is expected to be completed in the coming months, with a construction start date in Quarter 1 of 2021.

To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the e-tendering process for quantity surveyors with regard to school construction projects; the quantity surveyors that were successful in the tendering process; the school projects for which their tenders were accepted from January 2020 to date, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
