Beef Environmental Efficiency Scheme

679. To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of successful applications to the BEEP scheme by county in each of the years 2015 to 2019 and to date in 2020; and the average amount received by applicant by county by quarter in the same period in tabular form. [19199/20]

The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the table below.

The Beef Environmental Efficiency Pilot (BEEP) started in 2019. Accordingly, there were no payments for the preceding years 2015 to 2018.

Also included are the number of applicants under the BEEP-Suckler Scheme. Payments are not due to issue under this Scheme until later in 2020.
