As Minister, I have overall responsibility for policy and funding in relation to public transport.

The issue raised is an operational matter for the Commission for Railway Regulation (CRR), in conjunction with Iarnród Éireann. I have therefore forwarded the Deputy's question to the CRR for direct reply.
