To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of commercial forests, woodlands and parklands under the operation of Coillte nationwide by location; the locations accessible by entry fees only; the revenue raised by entrance fees in each of the past three years to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the revenue raised by entrance fees to Donadea forest park in the past two years to date; the reason for entry fees to some management land maintained by Coillte and not others; the use made of revenue raised from entry fees; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 596 and 597 together.

Coillte is operationally independent of my Department and matters such as the management of their forest estate are the responsibility of the company.

I have therefore passed the questions raised to Coillte for response and direct reply to the Deputy.
