To ask the Minister for Finance the number of instances and the value of tax involved in which divisions of the Revenue Commissioners (details supplied) issued reassessments of the amount of tax due between 2015 and 2019 and to date in 2020; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by Revenue that its Large Cases Division was realigned to Large Corporates Division (LCD) and Large Cases – High Wealth Individuals Division (LC-HWID) in May 2018. On 1 November 2018, the Medium Enterprises Division (MED) was established. Details of the number of instances and the value of tax involved in amended assessments made by these Divisions to reflect additional tax due are set out for each of the Divisions concerned in the following tables.
