To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if her attention has been drawn to the local and national campaign to save the remains of a cottage (details supplied); and if her Department has raised specific concerns with the local authority regarding the building, particularly its historical significance and the fact that many of the 1916 leaders and other historical figures had visited and stayed in the cottage. I thank the Deputy for raising this matter. I have asked my officials in my Department to contact the Local Authority who are the relevant body responsible for protecting architectural heritage in this instance.
