To ask the Minister for Health the number of meat plant staff that were tested as part of a screening programme that have to be retested due to the lack of a result from the laboratory; the average time delay between the initial test and the retest; the corresponding figures for nursing home staff and residents respectively; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is an operational matter I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
