816. To ask the Minister for Health if he will publish the terms of reference for the investigation into the 35 page protected disclosure in relation to a nursing home (details supplied); if he will provide details, that is, grade and title of the person carrying out this investigation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister I cannot make any comment on protected disclosures received that could in any way identify the person who made the protected disclosure. The Protected Disclosures Act (2014) precludes the Department from discussing any matter in relation to the protected disclosures that could identify that person.

However, I can assure you that  that all protected disclosures received in the Department are dealt with in the appropriate manner, in line with the legislation and the Departments policy and procedures to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
