284. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his views on whether it is acceptable for the National Transport Authority to repeatedly refuse to confirm a meeting with a cross-party delegation of public representatives from the Inishowen peninsula, County Donegal, to discuss their concerns regarding the changes to the public bus services from Inishowen to Letterkenny; and if he will encourage the NTA to do so at the earliest opportunity. As Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA), and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
