616. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of an invalidity pension application by a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [47404/19]

The gentleman referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 15 August 2019.  Payment will issue to his nominated bank account on 28 November 2019.  He was notified of this decision on 15 November 2019.

In order to determine his entitlement to claim an increase for a qualified adult and/or child(ren) on his claim, a request for information in relation to claiming these increases was sent to him on 11 September 2019.  A reminder for the requested information issued to him on 14 November 2019.  On receipt of the requested information his entitlement to claim an increase for a qualified adult and/or child(ren) will be determined and he will be notified directly of the decision. 

I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
