To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if the criteria in the granting of a PSV licence will be reviewed in view of the shortage of drivers which is reaching crisis point due to the difficulty of the PSV test (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. The regulation of the small public service vehicle (SPSV) industry, including the granting of SPSV licences, is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Act 2013.
